Switzerland’s former federal council Christoph Blocher seems to have a peculiar sense of humor. In an interview on Teleblocher the right wing politician was snorting with laughter about terrorism and the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The reporter interviewing Blocher happily laughs and chuckles along.
A translation of Blocher’s outburst for non Swiss-German speakers:
“Stop using those superlatives in New York, ‘this is the World Trade Center, the World Trade Center, the highest building in the world, the highest building, we have the highest building in the world’, after that – tick – tack – two airplanes – blurblurblurblur, everything finito, over, right?”
