Okay, the New York Giants upset the New England Patriots in yesterday’s Super Bowl. Though I don’t care the least bit about football, I’m happy for Rudy Giuliani. The former Mayor of New York always predicted that he and the Giants would land historic upsets. Good for you, Rudy. Being half-right is better than being flat out wrong.
As many others I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. Yesterday’s lineup was a big disappointment. Most of the ads lacked originality or humor or both. Apple, famous for its Super Bowl commercials, even showed an ad that has been around for a while. My favorite one was an Audi commercial that spoofed “The Godfather”. I’m sure Giuliani – famous for his obsession with the mob – liked it as well.
